Eyefuls of Gaza

Not exactly 'eyeless in Gaza' anymore.

The whole world has borne witness to the slaughter that had so ravaged many a home, left many childless, parent-less and sibling-less. The whole world now bears witness to a changed landscape.

Now we're getting eyefuls of Gaza. The scenes of mirth and mad jubilation on the streets. Finally, a ceasefire deal bringing some measure of hope against hope. Let's hope it's not too little too late.

Realization of overpowering eventuality cripples you. In this case too, is such an eventuality, laden with the direness of prophecy to accompany it. Yet, let's set aside fate for a while and exercise our free will in celebrating the mad frenzy of the euphoric, the freedom of the otherwise never free.

These are not mere glimpses, but hopefully larger cracks in the lens of realpolitik, going on to give undue substantiation to barbarity all over the world.

"All hell will break loose in the Middle East," said an arrogant man. It did. Just not where it was supposed to.

Anyways, let's get eyefuls of Gaza. And hopefully, one day eyefuls of Pakistan, India, Egypt, Sudan, Myanmar and everywhere in the world where there is a dearth of justice.

For now, its eyefuls of Gaza galore.
