Outside Eye on US Elections'20
HBO just dropped a new documentary "Agents of Chaos" centred on the 2016 Presidential Elections of the United States of America.
Same old stuff. Just wrong timing. Still not over the Russian intervention; cyber attacks from the Kremlin, Donald Trump-the narcissistic personality ideal to be Putin's lapdog, Jared Kushner meeting with Russian officials, the Democratic National Convention hack, Hilary's emails, ignorance regarding the intel briefings by more than one intelligence agency all corroborating the aforementioned fact, Putin himself jokingly admitting to have infiltrated the election process, using social media as a key weapon in the whole affair overturning votes and public opinion from Hilary to Trump practically overnight, Operation GRIZZLY STEPPE being overshadowed only to be described in vivid detail on the pages, akin to Robert Graysmith being forced to pin the Zodiac Killer's heinous crimes on Arthur Leigh Allen in his book, based purely on "circumstantial evidence", given the absence of physical proof of his connection to the crimes themselves. But the truth is laid bare. Whine all you want, you got Trump as President. You saw how he responded to the Coronavirus pandemic, his hilarious and all-too revealing interview on aforementioned channel, his opinion of himself, practically endorsing his followers to incite violence, which if he becomes President again, will show no signs of stopping, given his penchant for white supremacy, seems like there are undoubtedly going to be more George Floyds and Jacob Blakes.
Nobody is keen on observing the 2020 elections with the same vigour as allocated to the 2016 one. Here we have almost the same situation, Joe Biden, as to my knowledge, had an approval rating of 46% in the polls with Trump following really close behind with 42%. You have the President of the United States literally ignoring his briefings and saying what he deems fit. You've probably read his niece's tell-all regarding his own personality which was encompassing four different personality disorders, you saw him endorsing beans in the White House where he should've been busy in devising a strategic approach to deal with the looming pandemic and the staggering number of deaths.
What is America doing still? Ignoring the solid evidence of the now still and waiting for it to go into the pages as before? Would they churn out documentaries still after the travesty that might have more than a solid chance of coming to pass? Would they still not take notes from the past and not focus keenly on the goings-on as they should be? Would they still let Fox News and other such media channels propagate their agenda when it comes to cases like Kyle Rittenhouse and George Floyd?
While the DNC 2020 did have many keynote speakers such as former Presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama, with the highlight being Kamala Harris; it still doesn't shake the fact that some of these people remain accountable for their actions namely Clinton for speaking against Trump when he too, was a frequenter to Epstein's island and behind God knows, how many scandals (ignoring the Lewinski one this time) and of course Hilary herself for her infamous emails. But in all fairness, Joseph 'Senile Joe' Biden does prove to be the lesser of two evils when it comes to the future of America. If Bill is right in claiming that together he and Obama boosted up the economy which was 'worse than the great depression' then hands down, Biden. Kamala Harris might still be a questionable decision given her flimsy arguments against Tulsi Gabbard in a debate I viewed a while back, but hey if Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez took 90 seconds to effectively establish Biden as the ultimate candidate for President then why not.
Over to the Republican side, they are definitely fighting a losing battle, if one views rationally and not as a blind die-hard Trump follower. They no longer mirror the ideology of the greats like Abraham Lincoln and JFK but instead are focusing more on being suck-ups for Trump. You know that to be true when you see the panel for the Republican National Convention including 6/12 people from the Trump family only. Eric Trump was a really pitiful affair. One can only expect so much from someone craving the attention he probably never got. Also his boasting of his downright low comeback to Sharon Stone on Twitter only exposes his childlike mindset. Something he and his father both have in common, I'm assuming. Over to Don Jr., although giving a rousing 'Imagine' speech, it seemed like most of the Republicans glossed over the pandemic. The truly sad part was Melania's "Donald Trump will never let you down!"remark. From someone who has cheated on all three of his wives including her, its saying too much.
If I were a rational person, I would throw caution to the wind and blindly vote for Biden right now. Having Trump again would be a nightmare for all of America. If I may hazard a guess here, I think Biden wouldn't call CNN or Vanity Fair magazine something they're not.
To conclude, given the serious lack of proper leadership, I think that the real patriots should take a stand for their country and stand tall against every form of oppression. The coming elections are not just a matter of American politics, it is a matter for all of the world. With Trump, you have the leader of the free world in the hands of someone else, a master manipulator pulling his strings, one who, in his own country, sabotaged the democratic processes and forced the people to elect him for life. One who removes anyone who carries an opposing view from the equation. Literally. With Trump taking notes from a dangerous individual like this, in a way to implement his own viewpoints, where "Make America Great Again" is just a guise for making it more racist and crime-ridden, Trump 2020 would mean doom for the country.
